Spring is finally here. There are still some lingering patches of snow in the shadows but the trees are starting to bud and the grass is greening up. It may be too soon but I couldn't wait any longer and bought pansies and some herbs and vegetables to grow on our little balcony. Scott was a good sport (as usual) and lugged 4 bags of potting soil up the stairs. The weather cooperated and we didn't have a frost last night. If we don't don't get anymore snow we'll have fresh tomatoes and peppers for salsa soon. I can hardly wait.
